The elegant colour concept and surprising details show an entirely new interpretation of the wedding theme and make you want to plan your honeymoon with Kuoni.
Our client: One of the leading travel agent worldwide
With over 100 years of corporate tradition Kuoni is a worldwide synonym for high-quality travelling. The Swiss travel agent with its numerous branch office is present throughout the whole of Europe and, as one of the largest corporations on the international travel market, has set new benchmarks with its thorough brand relaunch.
Our task: create an attractive and innovative positioning of the Kuoni range for bridal couples
The visitors at the wedding fair should be welcomed by Kuoni’s exclusive image in an elegant, fresh and surprising manner so that they feel comfortable at the booth.
Kuoni cooperated with a jeweller and a bridal shop for the fair. The concept of Kuoni’s booth had to suit the general area but at the same time set its own clear, unique accent.
Our idea: elegance with a twinkle in the eye
The given specifications included the skeletal structure with a white string curtain, suspended banners and partitions the shape of plant pots as well as white carpet flooring. We used the specifications to superelevate the colour white in our further concept to a maximum. The wedding colour per se allows for minimal colour accents and subtle statements to have an even stronger effect. We underlined Kuoni’s competence for individual travel plans by inserting numerous special designs for the fair booth.
Our creative solution: modern metaphors all around love
‘Beneath a sky full of violins looking forward to the days of roses.’ Our sky of hanging violins made of printed material is an eye catcher in the hall. The red rose petal luminaires were made specially for the booth and bring the colour of love as a strong accent into the entire design.
The consulting situation is also supported by design. A lavish reception desk serves as a warm welcome. Kuoni’s appearance at the fair makes it clear that even individually planned journeys can be simple to realise and reasonably priced.
The consulting area underlines this claim, as a kind of room installation with specially designed benches for the bridal couple to be seated, while the travel consultant sits on a wooden chair. The cut-out heart motif suites the traditional brand Kuoni as well as the theme. By using white wood varnish for the chairs, we deliberately broke tradition to accentuate modern posture towards the theme. Images on suspended lengths of fabric serve as a reference to the dream holiday theme – they carry you off to romantic places and allow you to experience a first taste of your honeymoon at the booth.
Our success: a successful premiere and a high level of attention given by the target group
The Kuoni booth was the attraction at the wedding fair. Kuoni’s range of individually planned journeys attracted considerable interest with the target group of brides and grooms between 25 and 40 years of age. The brand scored with its pleasant and quite individual appearance.
