The pool is located at the edge of the Gland Commune and straddles an agricultural area. The project is born from our thoughts about this equivocal space where artificiality and nature meets and creates an object – artificial, by definition – in which its limits disappears embedded in the profiles and the mountains of the surroundings. The swimming pool builds a geography made of a fabric of irregular trapezoid which allows to give priority and to diversify the spaces. By establishing this nature’s occult geometry by the means of the collection of identical elements of diverse section and length, the resulting building is neither an object that interferes nor an object that hides in the surrounding nature but an object that is in symbiosis with this nature. It is an object where each one of its elements finds its right place, at the correct quantity, logical and related to the others. The balance is a matter of weight and friction.
