The design strategy for the school of agriculture mechanical department reflects the current department agenda. Automation and sustainable working environment are two of the main goal which set to meet the design challenge. The building façade concept is derived from the natural sunlight gain through the year. It was calculated by the software, the density of the window opening are controlled by the data of the software analysis. The louver system is controlled by the sun tracking device at the roof top. The louver is gently rotates throughout the day in responds to the best direct sunlight and sheltering ratio. The overall building energy is collected from the large solar roof panels just above the entrance. The interior programme was addressed as a whole with the three façade systems corresponding to the tree main functions. Offices, Projection room and Classroom.
