The project is located inside a well known golf club in Malinalco, a pre-Hispanic little town near Mexico city. The plot is a 41 x 23 meters oblique rectangle oriented east / west. It has two entrances, one through the street and one trough the golf course.
The house is an offset of the plot outline respecting the guidelines restrictions. The plan is divided in two volumes, one for public and one for private spaces, both articulated by a straight circulation, which runs from the entrance on the street side up to the golf course.
The dining and living rooms are in the smallest volume on the western side, the games and bar room is on the second floor, with a double height towards the dining area, where a wooden bridge floats over, connecting to the private volume, where its terrace becomes a deck with fabulous views to the mountains on the west.
This deck terrace becomes the node between the rooms and the public area, since it has an entrance through the main room, which stands on the east side facing the golf course. The circulation becomes infinite, so the house can be experienced through an endless path.
On the first plan of this volume three rooms and a tv room live to the central patio. The dining and living room area can be fully opened to integrate the inside to the outside.
The façade walls are 30 cm. thick so they isolate the cold during the night and keep the heat gained during the day. Solar panels are used to heat the pool water and some bath services.
